These are our notes from Denver.
We held a kickass meetup with the Under30Experiences community in Denver.
One thing Martin and I have always enjoyed doing is finding ways to make unordinary and extraordinary things out of the seemingly ordinary. A great example of a seemingly ordinary situation is when you go to an event and it comes time for everyone to introduce themselves. Typically whoever is leading will say something like, “Okay let’s go around the room, everyone say your name and what you do.”
Ordinary, right?
When we had everyone do introductions we used a method we picked up from one of our friends in Chicago where you introduce yourself by saying,
“My name is ______, and you can’t say you know me until you know _______ about me.”
In 2 minutes the group collectively learned one person’s unfortunate luck with cars (including having her car set on fire), another person having her U-Haul truck stolen and driven into a lake, two people being able to connect over their fathers’ respective bouts with terminal illnesses, one person who had 10 different pitches of laughter, and more. Instantly we heard compelling stories and learned so much more about each other.
The seemingly ordinary becomes unordinary, and extraordinary connections happen as a result.
That’s part of the reality we want to shape—connecting people in meaningful ways.
That brings us to the first podcast episode of our epic road trip. Our Denver stop included sitting down with Adam Griffin, founder of the fitness company Bodeefit, author of The Guy At The Bar, and Under30Experiences community member. Adam has great achievements to his name, and has also suffered through a couple tragedies. These are a fraction of what shape his reality. What shapes your reality?

Lastly, here are some additional notes and travel tips on Denver:
Huge thank you to everyone who came out to Punchbowl Social for the Under30Experiences meetup! Great spot to get people together.
There's a comedy night in Capitol Hill every Wednesday night--highly recommended if you want an ab workout purely from laughter.
You HAVE to go to Red Rocks and do any type of workout there! Or just hangout for the day (we turned it into our office!)
Hit up the bar Avante to watch the sunset
A HUGE thank you to our new best friend Anastasia for hosting us
We now spend the weekend in the Grand Tetons and Lolo National Forest---these views here are ridiculous.

That's because I fancy myself a human Curious George, and the yellow hat I chase is life's authentic moments. I share my chase one story at a time through this blog, our email newsletter, and as a rapper.
Oh and I'm a WWE fan 4 lyf!
